Big Bay Bash: Part II

It's New Zealand, all roads lead to the beach kids.

Good ol' New Zealand, amazing what no fear of heights... I mean litigation... can do for playground technology.

The only rat race you'll find Down Under.

Nice day for a stroll on a volcano.

Rangitoto, guardian of the harbor. If you can see the summit, you always know you're almost home. Unless of course you're stuck in the traffic on the harbor bridge.

You could almost swim over there. Except the chocolate fish are all on land.

Could get used to this whole Christmas in summer concept.

Let me introduce you to the classic Kiwi corner dairy. A portal to a simpler time, when a bag of lollies was one shiny gold dollar coin and the only things longer than the Longest Drink in Town were the endless, sun-drenched days.

World Famous*

* In New Zealand.

The cuzzie bros.

In New Zealand it is customary to play in the effluent runoff.  That's how clean and green we are.

This is what we call a smoko kids. In these enlightened times that's a restorative break for, uhm, meat pies.

Mt. Victoria. Possibly the un-canceled name of the volcano that towers over Devonport.

On a day like this you can almost see Australia. Or at least Billionaire Bunker, also known as Waikiki Island.

Looks a little warm for a Kiwi house?
